Oreo Bark

This Oreo Bark is so good! This recipe is so simple and full of amazing chocolatey flavor. Layered with Dark and white chocolate with two layers of Oreo Thins. Cookies and Cream Bark may sound as if it will be hard to bite, but this recipe will just melt in your mouth. Be sure to keep this one handy, especially if you have chocolate crazed kiddos!

Ingredients:

  • Dark chocolate baking bars– You will need to have these chopped for this recipe.
  • Oil- You will need to use Coconut Oil for this recipe.
  • Oreos- These will need to be the Oreo Thins.
  • White chocolate baking bars- You will need to have these chopped for this recipe.

How to Make Oreo Bark

Use parchment paper to line a large baking sheet and set aside.

Put the dark chocolate and 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil in a small bowl and melt this in 30-second intervals and stir between each until smooth.

Spread out a thin and even layer of the melted chocolate on the prepared sheet pan using a spatula.

Chop up your Oreos and sprinkle 2/3 cup on top of the dark chocolate layer and do this quickly before it hardens.

Put the white chocolate and use the rest of the coconut oil in a small bowl and melt this in 30-second intervals and stir between each until smooth.

Spread out a thin and even layer of the melted chocolate on the prepared sheet pan using a spatula.

Use the rest of the chopped Oreos on top of the white chocolate layer and do this before it gets hard.

Cut the bark into pieces using a large knife.

For this Oreo Bark Recipe, the best chocolate to use is the dark and white chocolate in the recipe. You can choose to use other types of chocolate, but these are the best fit for this recipe. You could though use chocolate with crisps or nuts to add more texture to this recipe.

There are a few easy ways to crush Oreos for this Bark recipe. You can place the Oreos in a bag and use a heavy object to hit and crush them. You can also use your fingers to break them up in your hands.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces dark chocolate baking bars chopped
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil divided
  • 2 cups chopped Oreo Thins divided
  • 12 ounces white chocolate baking bars chopped

Instructions

  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

  • In a small bowl, melt the chopped dark chocolate and ½ teaspoon of coconut oil on 30-second intervals until smooth, stirring between each.

  • Use a rubber spatula to gently spread the melted chocolate out on the parchment paper until it’s a thin and even layer.

  • Sprinkle ⅔ cup of the chopped Oreos on top of the chocolate before it starts to harden.

  • Melt the chopped white chocolate and remaining coconut oil in a medium bowl on 30-second intervals until fully melted, stirring between each one.

  • Use a rubber spatula to gently spread the white chocolate over the top of the Oreo and chocolate layer.

  • Top the white chocolate with the remaining Oreos and let set until hard.

  • Use a large knife to cut the bark into pieces.
